The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan brought criminal case against the management of "Ukrtatnafta"

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan brought criminal case about plunder at oil JSC Tatneft in number of more than 858 thousand tons for total amount over 10,7 billion rubles. As reported in a press - service of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, the case investigated on h. 4 Art. 160 (assignment or waste) the Criminal code of the Russian Federation, are excited in the relation "unidentified persons from among heads of JSC Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchug)".

We will remind, "Tatneft" conducts the international judicial proceedings against Ukraine in connection with management change at the Kremenchug oil refinery (JSC Ukrtatnafta).

The corporate conflict in "Ukrtatnafti" burst in October, 2007. In the absence of the head of board of "Ukrtatnafta" Sergey Glushko business management was taken by the chairman of the board of the company dismissed a few years ago Pavel Ovcharenko. It accepted the oil refinery management on the basis of the judgment on its reinstatement. The Russian shareholders of "Ukrtatnafta" represented by "Tatneft" consider it as the armed capture of the enterprise. After this precedent the Russian company interrupted supply of oil to plant. The leadership of Tatarstan and "Tatneft" appealed to the President and to the Cabinet of Ukraine immediately to interfere with the situation which has developed round JSC Ukrtatnafta, besides, the appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office was directed.
