In the Kharkov Region 15 t of illicit jeans are detained, reports a press - service GUBOP Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The mobile group as a part of the staff of department of service of the Southern railroad the Organized Crime Control Department of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on railway transport, department of fast reaction "Falcon" the Organized Crime Control Department of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Poltava Region and the staff of department of "K" USBU of the Kharkov Region as a result of special operation neutralized the illicit channel on Ukrainian - the Russian border. Near "Pletenovk's" boundary post of the Vovchansky area of the Kharkov Region in attempt to cross frontier of Ukraine out of a customs check point KAMAZ, the state registration without registration number, the loaded 15 t of jeans of production of Syria was detained.

On materials the Organized Crime Control Department of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on railway transport the investigative office of USBU in the Kharkov Regions brought criminal case on signs of the crime provided by h. 2 Art. 201 (smuggling) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

As a whole in implementation of the solution of enlarged meeting of Ministry of Internal Affairs board of Ukraine of February 18, 2008. "About topical issues of providing a law and order in the country and the main directions of the solution of the tasks set for law enforcement agencies of Ukraine by the head of state and the government of Ukraine for 2008" divisions the Organized Crime Control Department of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on railway transport this year exposed 26 facts of illegal movement of goods through customs border. The sum of the withdrawn illicit goods makes 6 million UAH
