The chairman of fraction of Communist party in the Verkhovna Rada Pyotr Simonenko supports presidential elections in parliament.
He told about it on air of broadcasting company "Ukraine" on June 5, transfers Regional committee with reference to the Ukrainian news.
At this Simonenko emphasized that KPU continues to insist on elimination of a position of the President.
"If to speak about a today's situation, I, certainly, support that the president elected if can't liquidate a post, in parliament", - he told.
According to him, any political reforms will have positive effect only when changes in part of criminal liability of candidates will be made to Constitutions on elections for non-performance of promises by them, in case of coming to power.
As it was reported, the president Victor Yushchenko intends to conduct negotiations with leaders of fractions of Rada for prevention of modification of the Constitution the possible coalition of BYuT and so forth
80,6% of the social researches "Sofia" interrogated by the center are negative to that the president was elected by Rada rather.
