In Nikolaev doctors of one of maternity hospitals the prosecutor's office suspects of inadequate performance of professional duties that entailed death of the woman in labor.

«The tragedy happened in one of maternity hospitals of the city of Nikolaev. After the child's birth at the woman in labor the state of health worsened. However, physicians in due time didn't provide and organize its direction for further inspection and treatment in specialized cardiological office. In some days after the child's birth young mother died» , - reported in prosecutor's office.
Thus, law enforcement authorities emphasized that according to conclusions commission is judicial - medical examination is established that the chosen medical tactics of assistance to the woman in labor was unreasonable, her death it was possible to warn.
Now it is reported about suspicion to the doctor and the manager of office of medical institution in commission of the criminal offense provided by part 1 of article 140 ( «Inadequate performance professional duties medical or pharmaceutical worker» ) Criminal code of Ukraine. Article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in a certain activity for a period of up to five years or remediable robots for a period of up to two years, or restriction of will for a period of up to two years, or imprisonment for that term.
Pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings proceeds, the necessary investigative (search) actions directed on establishment of all health workers involved in commission of a criminal offense are carried out.
