"And what sense to detain the official supervising the most important sector in the Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies - zhilishchno - municipal services if in case of questions it always can be caused on interrogation - A. Boroday honestly carried out the duties and wasn't going to leave Alushta, and on the eve of detention once again communicated with journalists on support of the mayor by inhabitants not only the hometown, but also all Crimea", - it is noted in the statement.

The Soyuz party regards militia actions "as indicative provocation with all signs of the fabricated "order", aiming to intimidate pig-headed representatives of local authorities". "We demand immediate release of the mayor of Alushta Vladimir Shcherbina and his deputies of Vadim Popov and Alexander Borodaya, carrying out impartial investigation and the fastest punishment guilty of failure of a normal course of a resort season in Alushta", - is spoken in the statement.

The head of department of public relations of General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in ARC didn't confirm information on A. Borodaya's detention. According to him, in Alushta now are conducted quickly - search actions. "There is a normal investigative process", - he told journalists.
