We will remind how it was already reported, later loud detention the first deputy head of the Nikolaev RSA, the Hero of Ukraine Nikolay Romanchuk on Friday, June 3, on suspicion of extortion of a bribe of 90 thousand US dollars, it has become clear that in these criminal proceedings appears and the first deputy head of the Nikolaev regional council Mikhail Sokolov whose surname is specified in the resolution of court on permission to searches.
However, on Monday, June 6, the deputy head of department of the State Security Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area Alexey the Pole I have declared, that «the first deputy head of regional council Mikhail Sokolov at the moment isn't a suspect on the specified criminal proceedings and weren't applied to him a measure of restraint».
- I am based on the official statement of the State Security Service of Ukraine, for me all this became news surprising on Monday morning when I have come to work because the party appointed me the curator on by-election in the Verkhovna Rada also in Kherson in time, free from official work. I trust a consequence completely, and I am sure that investigating authorities are updated, reboot today and political insinuations in any investigative and other actions won't allow. There (in the resolution of court, - PN) my surname I can't present how has appeared, I am ready to cooperate with the investigation, let them understand, - Sokolov has answered.
At the same time he was indignant that the State Security Service of Ukraine and prosecutor's office carried out in his office searches after he has left work.

At the same time he has declared that all detention and in general criminal proceedings on extortion of a bribe at businessmen for permission to extraction of limestone can be provocation on the attitude both towards him, and towards the detained first deputy head of the Nikolaev RSA Nikolay Romanchuk.
