The deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine, the chief of General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in ARE the Crimea Gennady MOSKAL requested in prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea initiation of legal proceedings concerning the mayor Simferopol Gennadiya BABENKO.

According to the Crimean militia. The Russian addressed to the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vladimir BOYKO "in connection with the decision of Appellate court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of 01.09.2009 concerning the chairman of the Simferopol city territorial election commission Vladimir KRYLOV and the introduction of a conviction in validity". He asks to bring criminal case concerning the mayor Simferopol G. BABENKO according to Art. 353 of the Criminal code of Ukraine "Unauthorized assignment of powers of authority or a rank of the official, connected to commission of any socially dangerous acts", and to take out the resolution on G. BABENKO'S discharge from duties of the Simferopol city chairman for a consequence.
According to OSO of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Railway district court of the city of Simferopol recognized on June 9, 2006 invalid elections on March 26, 2006, and the solution of the Simferopol city territorial election commission on G. BABENKO'S registration by the city chairman and publication of results of elections illegal and cancelled them.
The appellate court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Supreme Administrative court of Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine upheld this decision.
People's Deputy of Ukraine. The Russian registered on February 13, 2008 at No. 2054 the draft of the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "About holding snap elections of the Simferopol city chairman". However on April 10, 2008 at joint meeting of the commission of BP of Ukraine and the Central Election Commission decided that the Central Election Commission in this situation has to make the decision.For this reason the draft of the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada was rejected, and materials are transferred to Central Election Commission which several times gathered, but so far the concrete decision on purpose of elections didn't make, reported in OSO GUMVD of Ukraine in ARE the Crimea.
