That we still have no true and reliable story of the Great Patriotic War, the fact obvious. And it is a question not only about any "white spots" (which and now more than enough), and of events, long ago and in detail described in various works. In an example: probably, the BM-13 battery of the captain Ivan Flerov 1941-го shot on July 14 not on a congestion of enemy echelons.
WHEN IT WAS?
One of such events - the first fighting application of fighting vehicles of jet artillery of BM-13 on July 14, 1941 near Orsha. It would seem, here no questions and can be - all and is so known, and in details. And nevertheless...
Let's read all available and much, for certain, well familiar text (it doesn't make sense to refer to a source as all stated wanders from the edition in the edition below).
"… For the first time the jet artillery participated in fight in July, 1941 near Orsha. Near the city conducted a difficult defensive battle of part 73-й a shooting division. On the night of July 14 fascists took Orsha. Since morning here enemy echelons with armies, military equipment, fuel and ammunition one by one began to arrive. To detain approach of the opponent, the deputy chief of artillery of the Western front general G.S.Kariofilli in the morning on July 14 delivered to the commander 1-й the separate battery of jet artillery to the captain I.A.Flerov (seven BM-13 and 122 - mm a ranging howitzer) a task: to make a volley on a congestion of echelons of the enemy on a railway junction Orsha.
At 15 hours 15 minutes after three ranging shots from 122 - the howitzer mm from a hollow reached a roar and a gnash, black clubs of a smoke up escaped, more than one hundred redtailed shells shot up up. The volley took place.
On the echelons of the enemy which were on a railway junction, the fiery tornado collapsed. Rockets were broken off in the thick of cars with ammunition, fuel, equipment, people. Everything shivered, as at an earthquake. In a few minutes after a volley the railway junction turned into the sea of fire over which the dense smoke curled.Mad Hitlerites rushed about in the heated smoke. The great number of soldiers and officers of the enemy was destroyed".
"And what here the unclear? " - the unsophisticated reader will ask. Yes almost everything. But give one after another.
So, "on the night of July 14 fascists took Orsha".
What in this case meant specifically? Quite probably, a night-time interval - beginning approximately with calling - about 22 hours - and before sunrise - about four o'clock in the morning. That is the German parts could take Orsha and at 22 o'clock, and in 4 o'clock in the morning. However in July 1941-го Germans weren't at war at night (and this fact is widely known). So, if Orsha was left "at night" on July 14, the speech can go only about light time of day.
Now it is elementary estimated: lifting, breakfast (at Germans with it in the first months of war it was very strict), statement of fighting tasks, of cars and only then - in fight. Therefore, divisions of Wehrmacht entered Orsha not earlier than six o'clock in the morning. On - to another (if, I remind again, "on the night of July 14 fascists took Orsha") simply it is impossible.
By the way, under what circumstances the Soviet armies lost Orsha, official sources and until now keep silence. It is taken - and all here. However we read further. "Since morning here enemy echelons with armies, military equipment, fuel and ammunition one by one began to arrive".
Again - it isn't absolutely clear that this such - "since morning". Morning begins with rising and formally proceeds in the forenoon. That is the speech can go about rather wide interval of time - about eight hours. Enemy echelons started "arriving to what moment of "morning""?
However, in this offer another is more interesting. If enemy echelons, so, a domestic track started arriving by then was already altered on the West European track. That is "at night" borrowed, and by the morning already and ways remade.
Well. Let's say with such speed Germans didn't alter a track. They used our tracks. And our rolling stock. And our locomotives. Them, leaves, it was taken much. After all the speech in the text goes about "a congestion of echelons". But whereas - that ugly turns out. After all the directive of Council of People's Commissars of USSR and the All-Union Communist Party (bolsheviks) Central Committee to the party and Soviet organizations of front areas of June 29, 1941 unambiguously demanded:"… at the compelled withdrawal of parts of Red Army it is necessary to steal the mobile train, not to leave to the enemy of any engine, any car …"
Meanwhile - let and at sudden withdrawal - to destroy engines, to blow up entrance arrows not so difficult. Or how it is necessary to run not to manage to make even it? It turns out, Orsha was intact in hands of Germans? The enemy got the largest railway junction of Belarus in absolutely working order?
However, according to the text, there is no logic and in actions of the opponent. We will assume, it managed to take a quantity of a domestic serviceable rolling stock. In the first months 1941 and not such happened. But then here that turns out. In a place where the West European track comes to an end, Germans organize a peculiar transshipment terminal - unload the military echelons (covered cars, platforms, tanks), and then - immediately - overload ammunition, the food, combustible, etc. on the taken Soviet rolling stock. Absolutely fantastic show.
It is enough to present only pumping of fuel from one tank to another. Perhaps, to do by buckets it in a front strip? The similar line of action much more would increase time of delivery of appliances directly to armies. And all this is undertaken with one purpose - to drive echelons to just taken city. Actually - on a first line. On the railway junction which is in a zone of fire influence of the Soviet artillery. In what - than, but it is impossible to accuse of stupidity of Germans.
Again - after a settlement capture - the first actions (were carried out and carried out by any army) - combing and mine clearing. And here - arrival, and one behind another - military echelons. Absurdity, and this softest definition of the events.
And again from our party the picture looks very unattractively: not only that Orsha handed over to Germans in an integrity and the safety, the largest railway junction at all didn't mine. It already on the verge of a military crime...

"At night" Germans since morning take Orsha. Since morning enemy echelons" there start "arriving. But Georgy Spiridonovich Kariofilli already precisely knows: in Orsha there will be "a congestion of echelons of the enemy". And therefore sets tasks on their destruction - and too since morning. All this looks absolutely inexplicably. Especially as the general had no own means of investigation.
But here Ivan Flerov's battery fired a volley and... "Everything shivered, as at an earthquake. In a few minutes... the railway junction turned into the sea of fire over which the dense smoke curled. Mad Hitlerites rushed about in the heated smoke. The great number of soldiers and officers of the enemy was destroyed".
No doubt of it, the impressive show appears at a mind of the reader. Here only it is curious that about quantity of the destroyed railway cars (tanks, locomotives) in the text it isn't mentioned. Though them (unlike a great number of the killed and wounded German soldiers and officers) was to count not only it is possible, but also has to. Why not to make next day after a BM-13 battery volley air photography of a railway junction Orsha? And if station I addressed in "fire sea", in this case not late to send the scout plane and through two - three days. Case - that all - exclusive - the first example of fighting application of jet artillery. And to show pictures to General headquarters - here it, the weapon of unprecedented efficiency. And right there the decision - is urgent in a series.
However, it isn't excluded not so that such air photography was carried out and evident signs of result of the first fire blow nowadays legendary "katyushas" are available. However by consideration of these pictures it will be possible to establish easily that no German echelons at station are present and the railway junction Orsha is filled with the Soviet military echelons (cars, tanks and locomotives). And it is impossible to exclude that on any 14 - the m of a way was structure which under no circumstances shouldn't have got to the enemy.
Here then the picture with an accuracy of the sent in addition boss in a cartridge chamber finds on July 14, 1941 the real and sharp, focused outlines. Also this cloth as follows looks.
The first. Germans suddenly took Orsha.
The second. The railway junction was filled with our military echelons.

And stories of the Great Patriotic War it is valid as wasn't, and isn't present even if in initial texts about well-known events there are so much disagreements.
