The State Office of Public Prosecutor didn't bring criminal case against the People's Deputy from BYuT Andrey Portnov appointed by the prime minister to a position of the chairman of FGIU. It was declared today at a briefing by the general prosecutor of Ukraine Alexander Medvedko, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports. "If someone also can bring criminal case concerning A.Portnov, it is the Prosecutor General's Office, and his (affairs) aren't present", - he told.
In turn the acting chairman of SBU Valentyn Nalyvaichenko disproved information on initiation of legal proceedings against A.Portnov Security service of Ukraine. "There is a check within office investigation", - he told.
As the deputy head of the Secretariat of president Igor Pukshin noted, "from the Secretariat there were no indications of SBU and prosecutor's office concerning initiation of criminal cases".
