Portnov promises that tortures in law enforcement agencies will exclude

The presidentns deputy chief of staff Andrey Portnov declares that reform of criminal legal proceedings will exclude tortures in law enforcement agencies.

He declared it in interview "To mirror of week".

"It is convinced that new criminally - the legal model completely will exclude tortures in law enforcement agencies. The ban on research by court of the evidence obtained by an illegal way, will exclude this problem", - Portnov declared.

In his opinion, to it will lead that fact that, according to preparing changes in criminal proceedings, the court will take into consideration only those explanations which will be sounded directly in court.

Ports believes that it will make tortures in law enforcement agencies senseless.

"According to new criminally - procedural ideology, explanations of the person can be given only in court. All the rest that is received out of a court session, shouldn't be taken into consideration at all. It will automatically exclude tortures", - he explained.

It is known that that the president Victor Yanukovych created the working group on questions of reforming of criminal legal proceedings.

The Minister of Justice Alexander Lavrinovich is appointed her head, the secretary - the presidentns deputy chief of staff - the head of Head department concerning judicial reform and judicial system Andrey Portnov.
