Vice-the prime minister - the minister, the candidate in mayors of Kiev Oleksandr Turchynov declares the first detention more than 20 people on the case of falsification of issue of the Vecherniye Vesti newspaper.
He reported about it to journalists at a briefing.
"Together with tents about 12 people today (on May 8) and still where - that as much yesterday (on May 7) are detained", - he told.
Thus he added that BYuT transferred all materials on this case to law enforcement agencies.
Besides, he considers that owners of one of the Kiev printing houses are involved in business.
"In such volumes it couldn't be made in handicraft conditions. These are any Kiev powerful printing houses", - he noted.
Turchynov hopes for the fastest identification and punishment involved in case of newspaper falsification by law enforcement agencies.
On May 7 the prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko charged to the Minister of Internal Affairs Yury Lutsenko and the acting as the chairman of Security service of Ukraine to Valentyn Nalyvaichenko urgently to investigate the edition and distribution of false issue of the Vecherniye Vesti newspaper with interview of Turchynov.
