Last year in Nikolayevshchina 64 criminal cases in the sphere of the land relations were brought. A half of them was connected with illegal privatization of the earth, reports TsOS Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area.

In management of public service on fight against economic crimes claim that the similar situation is promoted by shortcomings of the land legislation. Most often manipulate uncertainty of a clear boundary of settlements, it especially concerns rural areas.

In villages violation of division of collective property is also widespread. Land shares instead of several lawful applicants are received by only one person. Besides doesn't do without bribery to officials or abuse of them the official position, even when it concerns absolutely lawful decisions.

"Yes, we brought criminal case concerning the chairman of village council of one of distant regions of the Nikolaev area who for the lawful decision got a bribe in the sum of 1 thousand US dollars", - the deputy chief UGSBEP of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area Sergey Stuzhuk notes.

Such cases not одиночны. Sumy of bribes is estimated in thousands of American dollars. And officials can pay a considerable penalty for such actions, be deprived the chairs or even of freedom. Though you shouldn't forget that responsibility is born also by those persons who bribe.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko noted that "the situation with corruption schemes which were created across all Ukraine thanks to imperfection of the legislation, from my point of view, specially unchangeable legislation, and also thanks to the high-ranking officials interested in these corruption schemes, has to be considerably and is urgently changed".
