The Pechersky district court of Kiev on Monday, June 16, passed the decision on the case of extortion and receiving by the chairman of Partenitsky settlement council of the Crimea Nikolay Konev of a record bribe in Ukraine in 5,2 million dollars.
In exchange for this money it had to promote in allocation to the Kiev businessman of 17 hectares of the earth belonging to settlement council.
As a measure of restraint the court chose Konev's maintenance under guards. The relevant resolution was declared by the judge of Pechersky regional court of Kiev Sergey Vovk, having satisfied, thus, representation of the investigator of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
In the resolution it is noted that Konev, being at large, can evade from a consequence and court, and will interfere with truth establishment.
The bribe taker will contain in the Kiev pre-trial detention center No. 13. The two-month term of the contents it under guards will be estimated since June 13.
The resolution of court can be appealed in appeal instance for 3 days.
Now the court considers similar idea of prosecutor's office of election of a measure of restraint for the deputy of Partenitsky settlement council Oleg Borodaya who is accused of participation in commission of the same crime.
We will remind, on June 13 in the Crimea during receiving a bribe for the sum over 5 million dollars it is detained chairman of Partenitsky settlement council (Big Alushta), and also deputy of this council.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko I told that it is the largest in the history the Ukrainian militia the detained bribe.
