The Pechersky district court of Kiev elected by a measure of restraint for the chairman of Partenitsky settlement council (Crimea) Nikolay Konev detention.
The court took out such resolution on Monday.
Konev is suspected of receiving 5,2 million dollars of a bribe.
The court considered arguments of the Prosecutor General's Office that Konev, being at large, can evade from investigative actions.
The term of detention begins since June 13 and makes 2 months.
Konev will be in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center.
As it was reported, on June 13 the State Office of Public Prosecutor and militia detained the chairman Partenitsky поссовета Konev and the deputy поссовета Alexander Baradaya on suspicion in receiving a bribe of 5,2 million dollars.
