The Russian frontier guards in the past weekend detained in the Sea of Azov two Ukrainian vessels on suspicion in illegal fishery, onboard trawlers more than 10 tons of fish of valuable breeds - a pelengas and a bull-calf were revealed.

According to department, among the revealed violators - the Yalta harvesting vessel and an average Black Sea seiner of "Slang".
"Violators on both vessels carried out fishery by a ground trawl, without having permission to this tool of fishing", - specified a press - service.
According to frontier management, fishermen of "Yalta" managed to catch about 5 tons of a pelengas and a bull-calf, and fishermen of "Slang" - about 6 tons of a pelengas.
"The damage caused by vessels - violators to bioresources of the Sea of Azov, made some million rubles", - specified a press - service.
Upon illegal fishery by the vessel "Yalta" criminal case as regards 3 articles 256 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (illegal production (catch) of water biological resources) which provides imprisonment till two years is brought.
The issue of initiation of legal proceedings upon fishery by the vessel "Slang" isn't resolved yet.
