In the morning on July 25 on the ground Wide Lang in the Nikolaev area during firing practice has become torn a 120-millimetric mortar.
Have reported about it in a press - service of the General Staff of Armed forces of Ukraine.
Incident has happened around 11:00. According to preliminary information, as a result of explosion one serviceman has died, two are seriously injured, six more have got slight injuries.
«The task force works at the place, investigation on clarification of the reasons and circumstances of incident is led» , - have explained in the General Staff.
We will remind that since July 24 on the Shirokolanovsky ground there passes a large-scale exercise «Southern wind» . Also this Nikolaev ground is involved in the international doctrines «Xi Briz».
As it became known «Crime. Is NOT PRESENT» , the fighters who were injured during explosion are not foreign military, but the military personnel of AFU. The Ministry of Defence doesn't open yet to what divisions victims belong.
Also we will remind that on the ground Wide Lang four officers have got wounds as a result of a casual shot from the grenade launcher.
