The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of ARC Anatoly Gritsenko spoke against the offer on transfer of the municipal airports in state ownership. The Crimean speaker declared it on a press - conferences in Simferopol, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports.

"All conversations of Cabinet of Ministers on need of transfer from municipal property in the state are empty, in my opinion", - A.Gritsenko told.

He noted that the state itself initiated transfer of the airports to municipal property during this period when the government had no means for their contents. At the same time, under the authority of local councils these enterprises showed effective work. I gave the Simferopol airport which, according to its data, was called by the most dynamically developing airport of CIS countries as A.Gritsenko's example.

In his opinion, the only effective ways of development of the airports is their corporatisation with involvement of investors and creation on the basis of property of the airports of joint ventures.

According to A.Gritsenko, in 2008 process of corporatisation of the International airport "Simferopol" came to the end: The fund of property of ARC transformed the republican enterprise "The international airport "Simferopol" to open joint stock company. He also reported that the investment construction project at the airport of the new terminal, worth 50 million UAH is developed now. Implementation of this project, according to him, will allow to improve service at the airport and to increase capacity with 500 to 1200 people in hour

The international airport "Simferopol" on the volume of passenger traffic takes the second place in Ukraine after the International airport "Borispol" (Kiev). Flights are performed from the airport more than in 30-ти the directions.
