On May 5 there were without work 41 employees of "The Nikolaev oblavtodor". As reports the regional center of employment, they were dismissed under article 40, by item 1 of the Code of Laws on Work.
According to this article, the employment contract is dissolved for the reason "changes in the production and work organization, including elimination, reorganization (bankruptcy) or a reshaping of the enterprise, establishment, the organization, reduction of number or the staff of workers".
To support the dismissed employees, specialists of the center of employment held with them a meeting.
- Having got to a critical situation for itself (loss of work by many people is perceived quite painfully), participants of a meeting were guarded, silent, mistrustful, - reports the Central regional center of employment. - But specialists of the center of employment provided detailed explanations concerning standards of the legislation, opportunities of receiving services of an employment service and emphasized that the fact of release is not the life end, and the main thing now not to become puzzled, gather and look for a solution of this problem. On the meeting termination workers thanked for provided information and didn't hurry to disperse, more and more asked questions and willingly transferred each other booklets.
