The national commission which is carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities (NKREKU) raised since April 1 of the current year the minimum tariff for gas for the population by 3,3 times–to 3 thousand 600 hryvnias for one thousand cubic meters of fuel.
The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the commission on Tuesday, March 3, reports «UNIAN».
According to the decision of the commission, the minimum tariff for the population is established in a heating season from October 1 to April 30 at the maximum consumption of fuel in volume to 200 cubic meters a month. In case of excess of the established minimum volume, the subsequent volumes are paid at the rate of 7 thousand 188 hryvnias for one thousand cubic meters.
During off-season–from May 1 to September 30–the cost of natural gas will make 7 thousand 188 hryvnias for one thousand cubic meters, irrespective of consumption volumes. Besides, according to the solution of NKREKU, the tariff for gas for the population for cooking is established since April 1 at the level of 7 thousand 188 hryvnias for one thousand cubic meters that by 6 times exceeds the operating tariff.
As the representative of the commission reported, increase of tariffs for gas for all categories of consumers will average 280%, as well as was recorded in the memorandum with the IMF signed by the president, the prime minister - the minister, heads of the Ministry of Finance and National Bank at the end of February of the current year.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that within performance of one of key requirements of the IMF, since April, 2015 tariffs for gas for the population will be significantly raised.
Also earlier it was reported that with April in Ukraine considerably the electric power will rise in price.
