JSC Black Sea Shipbuilding Plant adheres to standard procedure of reception of vessels on the territory for carrying out repair work, including, concerning the vessel "Beriks".
This procedure is described in the contract signed with the shipowner, and provides that the vessel is obliged to pass control by the commission as a part of representatives of all involved state departments, including a sanepidemstantion. Only after that the plant gives out permission to the shipowner to bring a vessel to the enterprise water area. Such permission to the shipowner of the vessel "Beriks" - the JSC Interfish Biotekh company - it wasn't given out. About it reported in a press - service ChSZ.
"At the conclusion of any contract we provide in advance possibility of all risks. Before vessel check in port (including check by port control, a sanitary post, customs service) permission to calling the water area of plant isn't given, - the director general of GAHK "Black Sea Shipbuilding Plant" Dmitry Mordovenko declared. - We independently check existence of the documents confirming passing of all types of control, we examine a vessel regarding existence of freight which can render harm to environment. We to "Beriks's" owner designated the requirements, we wait for their performance".
On June 16 "The Black Sea shipbuilding plant" signed the contract on vessel "Beriks" repair. On June 17 to the enterprise letters from the Nikolaev sea trade port, a regional sanepidemstantion and the commission on questions tekhnogenno - ecological safety and emergency situations of Nikolaev with the prevention of stay on the vessel "Beriks" of sub-standard freight arrived and you will lock on its repair for reasons of ecological safety. On June 18 "The Black Sea shipbuilding plant" informed the shipowner that the plant suspended implementation of the contract until elimination of comments of the commission and removal of the corresponding ban.
