Construction "the Smart - Holding" Vadim Novinsky of Ochakov seaport can be senseless. The program of development of the Nikolaev MTP till 2012 provides concentration of the freght traffics passing through the region. Thus, one more port near the Dneprovsky estuary will be simply unclaimed.
At the end of June the second sea trade port of Ukraine - Nikolaev - submitted the program of medium-term development. As already I wrote business - UGMK.INFO portal, MTP "Youzhny" was the pioneer. According to the document, in Nikolaevsk MTP it is supposed to master capital investments for total amount of $217 million, including $163,1 million - means of the seaport and $54,3 million - private investors.
The program provides construction in port of two new oil moorings. Besides, near the mooring No. 1 and No. 2 complex construction on transfer of general and bulk cargoes is planned. Estimated goods turnover of the complex as which investor the Danube navigable - the stevedoring company" acts ", exceeds 3 million t a year.
Near the mooring No. 3 of port complex creation on transfer of the 300 thousand tons vegetable oils in a year is supposed. As the investor of this project the Inteltreyd company will act. Also around 8-го the mooring complex construction on transfer of general freights, and in the back 13-го and 14-го the mooring - a complex on transfer of export freights is planned.
In port as the very perspective consider the project of a reshaping of the third loading area under transfer of grain freights. Power of this complex allegedly will make 1 million t a year. Commissioning is planned by the beginning of collecting a new crop. Its relevance is that in the conditions of crisis and falling of freght traffics of ore, coal, ferrous metals and containers trade in grain grows thanks to what it is possible to compensate the half-received income partially.
Separately from the program of development of NMTP it is planned to realize the infrastructure project "Bugsko's Likhterovochny Sea Terminal — the Dneprovsky Pool" in the port water area near Ochakovo with a budget cost of 1,162 billion.UAH with a payback period in 8,5 years. Its construction can exceed considerably possibilities of existing raids of Nikmorport and will minimize his shortcomings. We will remind that now they represent three road parking on which vessels and barges are loaded and unloaded. Two of them are in the sea, one - near the Nikolaev river port. In total it is 1,5 million t of freights a year.
According to the head of the State administration of sea and river transport Mikhail Chubaya, after construction of the likhterovochny terminal ports and Bugsko's terminals - the Dneprovsky pool come to goods turnover to 20 million t (following the results of 2008 only NMTP processed about 8 million t). "Moreover, by extension international a transport corridor No. 7 ports and terminals of the pool will be able to be integrated into it. Besides, this project will allow to revive the transport capacity of Dnepr", - the official states.
