It became known during plenary session of regular session of the Nikolaev City Council on Tuesday, April 19.
- The community didn't accept any actions: she has learned from mass media and the Internet that such decision is made. In a community now rather difficult, intense situation because we are surrounded with two cemeteries–as it is rural and big old Meshkovsky cemetery–and if to construct one more new cemetery, then thus for the next 150 years the prospect of development of our settlement will be completely closed, - Grishayev has reported, having added, in the settlement is now used water intakes which pump water from wells therefore disinfecting of water is absent.
Also he has emphasized that he doesn't understand, it was how reasonable to give a site of 56 hectares near which two highways of All-Ukrainian value, three branch lines and all necessary communications are located and where according to the General plan construction of an industrial zone, to the municipal enterprise «was plannedNikolaev ritual service».
–Think, dear deputies, maybe, these communications can serve service to living people, but not already deceased, - Grishayev has addressed deputies.
At the same time, the deputy Sergey Tanasov (BPP) has noted that one and a half months ago members of the deputy land commission have addressed to management of town planning and architecture of the City Council for consideration of an opportunity to give this earth for construction of the settlement with sites for members of anti-terrorist operation. Besides, he has suggested to carry out public hearings.
- To ask inhabitants of the Ground to provide the offers that they would like to see nearby: the settlement where there will live military, or a cemetery, - he has reported.
In turn, the deputy of the Nikolaev mayor Valentin Gaydarzhi has reported that since 2004 the city council held negotiations with the Ministry of Defence concerning withdrawal of the land plot around the Kapustiny Beam, however last year has been refused in connection with military operations in the country.
Also he has told that having studied all free land plots in the territory of the city, the authorities have come to a conclusion that there are no free sites, except potential industrial park.
–The solution of session has taken away the land plot of KP «Ritual service» , the project of land management is developed further, the project of construction of a cemetery is approved, developed, the auction is held. Unfortunately, once again I speak, there is no other land plot here, - Gaydarzhi has emphasized.
According to him, the project has passed the examination, ground waters are lower than 10 meters, and according to the conclusion of the commission, the distance from cemetery border to border of the settlement will be 1300 meters, creation of a concrete fence and forest plantations 20 meters wide is also planned.
–It is a compulsory measure, - Gaydarzhi has summed up.
It should be noted that the mayor Alexander Senkevich has told that at the moment this issue is handled very attentively, and he doesn't see in this place of a cemetery.
- It is very convenient site there to place industrial park, there are approaches of two railway laths, there are nearby communications, very convenient entrance there. And to do a cemetery of this place... Today I plan to meet the governor to investigate this question and to solve it soon. According to my information, there will last places on cemeteries only till June, - the mayor has told.
We will remind how earlier it was reported, in March of this year the municipal enterprise «Capital construction of the city of Nikolaev» has signed the contract with Ltd company «Nikolayevgorstroy» on 15,5 million on construction of the first stage of a new city cemetery in the territory of 56 hectares to the address Hersonskoye Highway, 112. According to the contract, the cemetery has to appear on this land plot by the end of 2017, however residents of the settlement near Nikolayev have acted against construction of a new cemetery near their houses.
