Ukraine took the sixth place in a rating of the countries with the greatest number of economic crimes made by the auditor company PricewaterhouseCoopers.
45% of interrogated PwC of the Ukrainian companies answered that at least once suffered from a serious economic crime.
In a rating the Russian Federation got the first place - 71% of the Russian and foreign companies became fraud victims in the current year (in 2007 - 59%). This indicator almost exceeds the average world level of number of economic crimes twice. Corruption and plunder of means in power and financial branches are most widespread in Russia.
The three also entered the Republic of South Africa (62%) and Kenya (57%). Further in a rating Canada (56%), Mexico (51%), Ukraine (45%), Great Britain (43%), New Zealand (42%) and Australia (40%) took place. In a rating of the countries where number of economic crimes the lowest in the country, Italy (19%), Sweden (19%) and Singapore (18%) entered.
Auditors of PwC interrogated more than 3 thousand companies in 54 countries of the world.
