The antimonopoly committee of Ukraine (AMKU) provided to the FLC West Holding S.a.r.l company (Luxembourg) permission to purchase Aker Yards Ukraine Holding AS (Norway) which, in turn, possesses 98,737% of the Ukrainian ship-building JSC Damen Shipyards Okean (Nikolaev).
As reports AMKU on the Wednesday, the specified transaction will provide to FLC West over 50% of voices in the supreme body of management of Aker Yards Ukraine Holding.
In March of this year the ship-building concern Aker Yards reported about sale for 291,9 million euros the Russian investment company FLC West of 70% of shares in the Norwegian Aker Yards Ukraine Holding AS entering the Trade Vessels division. Thus 30% of Aker Yards Ukraine Holding AS leave Aker Yards concern in the property.
The transaction, besides shipyard in Nikolaev, included also the enterprises in Wismar and Varrenmyunda (Germany).
FLC West - the Russian investment company with a leasing portfolio in 1,5 billion dollars. In interests of Russia of FLC West realizes investment projects on development of shipbuilding and a cargo transportation. Staff - FLC West apartment, 50 which % belong to FLC group, is located in Luxembourg. Other 50% are in property of the private Cyprian investment company Almiar Investment Ltd controlled by private shareholders.
