AMKU allowed the Swiss Avangard Shipyards International AG to buy more than 50% of "Estuary"

The antimonopoly committee allowed the Avangard Shipyards International AG company (Switzerland) to buy more than 50% of shipbuilding plant "Liman" (Nikolaev). I reported about it on October 10, 2008 a press - committee service.

According to the message, the Avangard Shipyards International AG company is engaged in investment and doesn't carry out economic activity in Ukraine. Press - service AMKU doesn't report other details.

As it was reported, the shipbuilding plant "Liman" constructed the patrol boat "Kalkan — P" by request of State frontier service. "Estuary" floated on July 25 the motor Severina yacht. 2007. "Estuary" finished at a loss 1,938 million UAH, having reduced net income by 59,86%, or for 6,645 million to 4,457 million UAH. "Estuary" is engaged in construction and repair of vessels (including yachts, boats, the ships) up to 70 m long, with a dock weight up to 800 t.
