The rating of the European countries made by the German edition of Deutsche Welle is published. By drawing up the list gross domestic product indicator per capita (taking into account parity of purchasing power - a difference of the prices of separate goods and services in the different states) was considered.
As the newspaper reports the "Business", Luxembourg became the richest country of Europe. Gross domestic product per capita in this country makes about 80 thousand dollars. So high rate is connected with presence at the country of a large number of foreign workers. They work on economy of Luxembourg, but at the same time aren't his residents. The second and third places among the most safe countries were taken by Norway and Ireland. Poland at which gross domestic product per capita made 15,8 thousand dollars closes ten.
Ukraine wasn't included in the research Deutsche Welle, notes "Business". However earlier World bank published data that gross domestic product per capita in Ukraine makes 6,92 thousand dollars. Thus, on this indicator our country - on the third place among the poorest countries of Europe. Ukraine outstripped only Moldova and Albania.
Moldova became the poorest country of Europe. Gross domestic product per capita in this country - 2,56 thousand dollars. "It is the only country in the world where money transfers of ostarbeiters make 35% of gross domestic product is more, than all salaries, the state budget and all export", - authors of a rating emphasize. Among the poorest also there were Balkan countries, Bulgaria, Romania.
