"Gazprom" doesn't intend to provide free of charge NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy technological gas for ensuring transit of energy resources through the territory of Ukraine. As the official representative of "Gazprom" Sergey Kupriyanov declared, the Russian side repeatedly emphasized that "the requirement of Ukraine to provide it free of charge 21 million cubic meters of gas per day for ensuring transit of the Russian gas to Europe contradicts both to common sense, and the existing transit contract".

"Own gas is obliged to use NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy for technological needs or to buy it from "Gazprom" or any other supplier. As option - to buy it from recipients of export volumes of the Russian gas, going transit through the territory of Ukraine", - S. Kupriyanov told.
