Last week, on January 21, the vice-chairman of the regional state administration Vitaly Travyanko held meeting with chiefs of managements of agro-industrial development of the district state administrations. This meeting was devoted to preparation for agricultural works in 2009.
Vitaly Travyanko informed gathered that in the state budget of Ukraine financing of programs for support of agricultural branch is significantly reduced by 2009, and hoped that at acceptance of changes in the budget in March of the current year the situation will improve.
The deputy governor emphasized that in the period of an economic crisis in the state the agriculture has to work with the greatest return to support the population.
Before gathered the chief of the State inspectorate for protection of plants in the Nikolaev area Vladimir Maykhrich who reported about development of the regional program of a complex biologization for 2009 - 2011 also acted. This program will give the chance to increase level of ecological safety of agricultural production. Vladimir Mikhaylovich provided recommendations concerning preparation of a sowing material, and also fight against weeds and rodents on fields.
The chief of the Nikolaev regional state seed inspection Vladimir Oleynik paid attention of participants of meeting to a difficult situation that developed in the Nikolaev area: at 95% of security as a result of nonprofessional actions of producers of only 63% of seeds today are suitable for seeding to the soil. Only 8 areas (Arbuzinsky, Bashtansky, Brotherly, Veselinovsky, Elanetsky, Kazankovsky, New Odessa and Snigiryovsky) are rather provided with a standard sowing material, reports a press - service Nikolaev YEAH.
The chief of inspectorate for supervision of technical condition of cars and the regional state administration equipment Ivan Klimenko reported on insufficient level of readiness of agricultural machinery to work. It published regional indicators: tractors - for 63%, seeders - for 70,6%, cultivators - for 69%, harrows - for 67,7% are ready to work.Also Ivan Semenovich noted sharp need for qualified personnel.
