The antimonopoly committee of Ukraine called seven companies, prices of medicines suspected of a sharp unreasonable raising.

Among violators - wholesale suppliers of pharmaceutical preparations from two regions: Kiev "Optima - фарм", "Air Force", "Alba Ukraine", "the Drugstore - Biokon", "Interfarm", and also Dnepropetrovsk "BADM" and "Venta".
According to Yury GOLOVOCHANSKY'S state authorized AMKU, this list can replenish. Whom exactly, the official doesn't specify. "Investigation is yet complete therefore I can't open all details", - he told.
As note in AMKU, the consequence allegedly in March will come to the end.
In return the acting chairman of AMKU Alexander MELNICHENKO noted that to start a consequence sharp jump of the price of medicines was on October 7-8, 2008 the cause. "The prices of some preparations jumped at once for 50%", - told A.MELNIChENKO. Thus he specified that all seven companies raised the prices of different drugs and at different times.
According to him, investigation becomes complicated that the companies don't make contact with department. "Some companies didn't provide information which was requested by committee", - he told. Punishment which the companies can incur, - a penalty of 10% of annual revenue.
In return, the companies which AMKU convicted of arrangement, go on about groundlessness of charges, the newspaper writes. "In our actions of AMKU I saw arrangement though it and couldn't be, - the head of legal department "Alba Ukraine" Tatyana GARBUZOVA declared. - All at the same time and equally reacted to a situation which developed in the country". According to suppliers of import medicines, the sharp jump in prices occurred after dollar rate growth.
