The EU High Representative for foreign policy and security policy Javier Solana positively estimates development of an economic situation in Ukraine, however notes political instability.
Solana declared it today in Brussels on a press - conferences to journalists after a meeting with the prime minister - the minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko.
"Ukraine moves economically very positively, results of growth, inflation under control" are positive also, - Solana emphasized.
Thus he noted that there are some problems in development of a political situation.
"We would like to see stabler political situation and that parliamentary life also was adjusted", - Solana noted, having emphasized that this question is quite difficult for the decision, however its outcome will lead to positive results.
In turn, Tymoshenko noted that cooperation with EU goes rather successfully, and the only thing that Ukraine needs, this unity of all democratic team - the President, the prime minister and the majority of BP.
"I as the head of the government, I will provide with all possible ways unity of democratic forces and stability in policy", - she noted.
She thanked Solana that he understands a problem of Ukraine and supports the country on a way of development of democracy.
Answering a question of journalists about the volume, how coming nearer presidential election in Ukraine prevents to fight against inflation, Tymoshenko told: "I think that for inflation, except absolutely professional steps in monetary and economic policy, is necessary also rest and silence because some statements for inflation which sound sometimes rather emotionally, they excite Ukraine".
