The head of the Secretariat of the president Victor Baloga is sure that the next presidential election will take place on January 17, 2010. He declared it in interview "the Businessman - Ukraine".
Making comments on an initiative of the leader of communists Pyotr Simonenko concerning impeachment of the President, he noted that excludes such opportunity.
"First of all the incumbent president, carrying out the functions, never I violated the Constitution and laws of Ukraine. And statements of the member of the actual democratic coalition Pyotr Simonenko - after all exactly thanks to it pass coalition votes in parliament - speak very simply. Simonenko was so inspired with performance of orders of Tymoshenko (Yulia) that voters will cease to understand soon, is he party member "Batkivshchyna" or the head of KPU. And as for those "violations" about which he spoke today, including about appointments of governors and changes in Security Council structure, Victor Yushchenko made them in response to plaintive requests for it madam Tymoshenko who then very much wanted to become the prime minister - the minister", - the head of the Secretariat noted.
Besides, he reported that the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko intends to choose the candidate on a post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from representatives of diplomatic corps. V. Baloga doesn't know, on which candidate the President stopped the choice, having reported that among candidates is and acting ambassadors.
