Deputies want to be exempted from Yushchenko for 3 months earlier

The parliamentary committee suggests to support the resolution on purpose of presidential elections for October 25.

As the chairman of committee on the state construction Oleksander Omelchenko declared from a tribune, the committee decided to support Gennady Moskal's project that elections have to take place last Sunday of October.

The Russian notes that for the period of election of the president edition of part of the fifth article 103 of the Constitution of Ukraine sounded as follows: "the next election of the president of Ukraine is held last Sunday of October of the fifth year of powers of the president of Ukraine".

It accurately determined the term of holding the next election of the president of Ukraine, but in 2004 was changed to norm: "the next election of the president of Ukraine is held last Sunday of the last month of the fifth year of powers of the president of Ukraine".

On conventional by the principle of the right laws and others it is standard - legal acts have no return action in time, the Russian emphasizes.

This offer is supported by deputies of BYuT, NUNS.

At the same time the chairman of procedural committee Alexander Efremov noted that in case of acceptance this resolution will be appealed by the president in court.

It is known that the president suggested to hold elections on January 17. On Monday this opinion was supported also by deputies.
