The president Victor Yushchenko demands from parliament to state as soon as possible the position on an occasion of the changes offered them in the Constitution.
"The parliament has to state the position on an occasion of an initiative of the president", - Yushchenko told, addressing students of National Kiev university of a name of Taras Shevchenko on Monday.
He asked the Verkhovna Rada to create as soon as possible the constitutional commission, to hold meeting of parliament at which changes and additions in the Basic law have to be considered, to send them to the Constitutional court and "to address to the nation", and also to hold the corresponding referendum.
Speaking about the changes offered them in the Constitution, Yushchenko emphasized that they, in particular, provide norm about formation by the Verkhovna Rada of all structure of the Cabinet.
"There is no uniform source which would form the government and was responsible for its actions. Our government form parliament and the president... The president has to transfer the right of partial formation of the government to parliament", - Yushchenko told.
It reminded that, according to the current legislation, the president proposes candidates of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defence.
The president noted that from - for this norms, and also from - for difficult a political situation the Minister of Foreign Affairs still isn't appointed.
"We have today no appointed acting Minister of Foreign Affairs because his appointment has such difficult political character and such system of the conflicts that in such system of coordinates difficult to the president to carry out the candidate of the Minister of Foreign Affairs", - Yushchenko emphasized.
He hoped that the government will be formed only by parliament and politicization in a question of appointment of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and defenses will be removed.
