In the Central Election Commission there is a deficiency of funds for carrying out the next presidential election.
It was declared today to journalists by the member of Central Election Commission Zhanna Usenko - Black.
According to her, in the state budget-2009 on elections of the head of state 712 million UAH whereas the estimate of elections makes 941 million UAH are provided. Therefore it is necessary that the Verkhovna Rada made changes to the state budget, Zh.Usenko - Black added. According to her, tomorrow at meeting of the Central Election Commission is planned to make the decision on the appeal to parliament about it.
Zh.Usenko - Black also considers that it is necessary to make changes and to the law on an election of the president of Ukraine it was possible to involve the State register of voters on these elections.
In turn the vice-chairman of Central Election Commission Andrey Magera noted that preparation for elections is possible and on the basis of operating legislative base.
