KPU opposes early parliamentary elections, the People's Deputy of the fourth convocation Sergey Gmyrya declared during the video bridge Moscow - Kiev.
According to him, "we don't want these elections, but also we aren't afraid of them".
Гмыря doesn't exclude that early elections in parliament are necessary for implementation of the scenario on extension of the term of stay of Victor Yushchenko on a post of the President of Ukraine.
Also it doesn't exclude that "in 10 days there will be a decree of the President of Ukraine about carrying out early elections in the middle of June" which won't take place from - for absences of voters. According to him, after that repeated elections in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be appointed "at the end of summer, and parliament, conditionally speaking, won't work till October 1".
Гмыря considers that in Yushchenko's same time will appeal to the Constitutional Court which recognizes unconstitutional date of presidential elections on October 25, 2009, and "we as a result have no elections neither in October, nor in January as there will be nobody them to declare" since the parliament is absent.
According to him, "today parliamentary early elections will promote strengthening of a present mode" what KPU opposes.
