The Minister of Economics Bogdan Danilishin considers conditional the forecast The world bank about gross domestic product falling in Ukraine in
2009 for 4%.
"Any of all possible methodologies of dynamics of GDP growth now doesn't act. And those indicators which the World bank and the IMF gives, are purely conditional", - Danilishin at a briefing in Cabinet of Ministers told.
According to him, it is caused by that "the world environment changes in the eyes".
It is known that the World bank published the new forecast, according to which the Ukrainian economy will fall to 4% during 2009 whereas the Ukrainian government continues to be guided by own forecast of GDP growth for 0,4%.
Danilishin reported that the government can revise the forecast after gross domestic product indicators will be received for the first quarter 2009.
"I hope, following the results of 1 quarter around April 15-20, we will be able to estimate a situation in economy and we will give a real assessment of its development", - he told.
Danilishin also supported that owners of the metallurgical enterprises hoped not for state support, and returned the money removed in the offshore.
"You know what was profitability in is mountain - a metallurgical complex in recent years therefore owners of the enterprises for modernization of production should return means which they earned earlier", - he told.
"As want, so let and return", - Danilishin added.
