The prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko hopes that after presidential election she will have more opportunities in respect of return of savings to investors of "Oshchadbank".
She declared it on Thursday at a briefing, answering questions of journalists.
"Dear friends, all of you watched process, you saw that when the government started paying one thousand hryvnias as to it disturbed that did in order that honest privatization wasn't carried out", - she told, reports Лига.net.
"I would tell so that, in fact, in a manual mode other branches of the power including other high officials completely stopped payment of these savings.... It is a pity to me, but I hope that after presidential election I will have more opportunities to return to people of savings", - marked out Tymoshenko.
On January 11, 2008, in Ukraine campaign for return of the depreciated savings to citizens - investors of former "Sberbank" of the USSR began.
5 billion 760 million UAH were originally allocated for these purposes to Ukrainian "Oshchadbank"
The prime minister - the minister Tymoshenko then promised to Ukrainians that no more than one thousand hryvnias will be paid to each investor; for the same, whose deposits exceed this sum, it will be only the first stage of payments.
