Yanukovych promises to protect Ukrainians from conditions of the IMF

The Party of Regions supports that Ukraine obtained the credit from the IMF, however declares that disagrees with conditions of this credit.

It on Tuesday was declared by the party leader of regions Victor Yanukovych whom the press - service of Party of Regions quotes.

"We for that Ukraine obtained the IMF credit. But we never will allow that Ukraine agreed on such conditions of this credit which significantly would worsen lives of needy citizens", - he declared.

According to Yanukovych, the government suggests to agree on that small and medium business instead of 84 hryvnias of a social tax paid 200 hryvnias.

"After all it means that in some months present small businessmen, and them in Ukraine one and a half million, will fill up army of the unemployed. The Party of Regions never will allow it", - Yanukovych emphasized.

He also noted that the government agrees on conditions of the IMF by which privileges and subsidies for payment of utilities are liquidated.

"It means that needy citizens will pay for utilities four times bigger. The Party of Regions won't allow adoption of such law", - the party leader emphasized.

He also scarified that the government agrees with the IMF to increase a retirement age of citizens of Ukraine, and to make it in 2009.

"Thus that in Ukraine the lowest in Europe the life expectancy, many people can simply not wait for the pension. Party of Regions against the government agreed on such conditions", - Yanukovych emphasized.

"We gave some examples of how the government, having accepted IMF conditions, will worsen life of millions Ukrainians. The Party of Regions resolutely declares - we won't allow the present power to scoff at the people of Ukraine", - he told.

"We won't allow that in this hall laws which will turn into beggars the majority of our compatriots" were adopted, - Yanukovych added.
