The leader of Communist Party Pyotr Simonenko is re-elected as the first secretary of the Central committee of Communist party of Ukraine. Such decision was made today on plenum of the Central Committee of KPU, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports. Igor Alekseev became the second secretary, Vladimir Oplachko and Georgy Buyko are elected secretaries of the Central Committee of KPU.
Except the marked-out persons, Adam Martynyuk, Valentin Matveev, Valery Mishura, Alexander Tkachenko, Pyotr Dybenko, Nikolay Shulga, Ekaterina Samoylik, Alexander Golub, Leonid Grach, Alexey Baburin, Yury Syzenko and Alla Aleksandrovskaya are also elected members of presidium of the Central Committee of KPU.
In total in Central Committee structure at congress of Communist party 169 people are elected. At congress of KPU powers of 4 deputies of local councils which were chosen according to Communist Party lists are also ahead of schedule stopped, but didn't enter into fractions.
P. Simonenko is the leader of KPU since foundation of party in 1993. The Communist Party fraction in operating parliament consists of 27 People's Deputies (all in Rada of 450 deputies).
