The Minister of Transport Iosif Vinsky declared that his department suggests to establish an equal tariff for transportations by train, plane and bus.
He told about it on air of the 5th channel, making comments on a question of increase Ukrzaliznytsey of the prices of passenger traffic.
"We made the decision - in the general car not to increase the ticket price this year. As for compartment and couchette cars, already there is an offer on a free tariff It is a tariff which will allow to have approximately the equal price of the train, the bus, the plane", - the minister noted.
At the same time he doesn't consider that it will be "any sharp increase".
"We have to estimate a situation really: for 2008 Ukrzaliznytsya received 4 billion loss from passenger traffic", - Vinsky reported.
"It approximately the budget of three areas and losses not because it inefficiently works, though these problems are, and a problem that at us ticket cost in comparison with Russia is 2-3 times less. In the suburbs at us 70% of people at all don't pay for the ticket", - he explained.
Answering a question, whether it can turn out so that passengers will change from trains on planes, Vinsky told: "I want it. I want that there was a competition between means of transport".
