Within official visit of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko to the Hungarian Republic in Budapest near Shandor's palace the ceremony of a meeting of the Head of the Ukrainian state with the President of Hungary László Sólyom took place.

Leaders of the countries bypassed a system of soldiers of the Guard of honor and presented members of the Ukrainian and Hungarian official delegations. Also Victor Yushchenko and László Sólyom examined a panorama of Budapest from a terrace of the palace of Shandor - residences of presidents of Hungary.
According to the program of official visit right after end of a ceremony of a meeting began Ukrainian - the Hungarian negotiations in expanded structure under the chairmanship of Presidents of two countries which results V. Yushchenko and L. Sólyom will bring on joint a press - conferences.
At the beginning of negotiations the President of Hungary noted activity of bilateral contacts at the level of Presidents of the countries that confirms good-neighbourhood character of the relations between two countries, and also speaks about intention of Hungary and from now on to support policy of the European integration of Ukraine that always was one of important questions of the agenda of the bilateral relations.
During negotiations in expanded structure the Ukrainian and Hungarian parties plan to discuss questions of deepening of political dialogue, trade cooperation, and also aspects of eurointegration policy of Ukraine. Also the humanitarian and ecological subject will be mentioned.
A part of the Ukrainian delegation at negotiations were: Minister of an agrarian policy Yury Melnik, deputy. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yury Kostenko, Deputy Glavy Sekretariata President of Ukraine Andrey Goncharuk, Chairman of Service of foreign intelligence Nikolay Malomuzh, Chairman of the State committee of Ukraine for nationalities and religions Alexander Sagan, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoly Gritsenko and chairman of the board of ministers of ARC Victor Plakida, chairman of the Zakarpatye regional public administration Oleg Gavashi.
