The ivy equated a gaming to alcoholism

The ban of a gaming is not the best method of fight against this phenomenon, the People's DeputyconsidersIvan Plyushch, NUNS fraction.

"The forbidden fruit is always sweet - therefore I voted against this law. Moreover, I consider that the ban will be the additional factor promoting criminalization of a gaming", - Ivan Plyushch explained.

The People's Deputy is sure that the law "About a Gaming Ban in Ukraine" was adopted hasty and many important points remained not settled, and ways authors of the bill didn't propose their solution.

"Before adopting the law on a ban, it was necessary to provide refund sources for licenses and patents. After all this business was lawful. But that it for strong-willed decisions that it for the state when today it is authorized, and is forbidden tomorrow! It is necessary to prepare, put people any terms for business turning, to provide compensations, and so on. And so, to forbid to play - all the same that to forbid alcoholism", - I noted the Ivy.

Also, according to the People's Deputy, in the law there is a populist component: "I consider that this ban certain political forces wanted to play on public moods before elections".

At the same time Ivan Plyushch considers that that gaming which is today in Ukraine, needs ordering. "I support all measures directed on ordering of the sphere of a gaming. That game halls weren't in houses, in places of mass rest of youth and so on. It is necessary to give to it such organizational forms which would exclude negative social consequences from its maintaining".

We will remind, on May 15 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 340 voices adopted the law "About Gaming Prohibition in Ukraine".

The main thing scientifically - expert Management of the Verkhovna Rada drew the negative conclusion on the adopted law. According to his experts "the general ban (even temporary) economic activity on the organization of gamblings will lead to its criminalization, including, by sharp increase in number of illegal gambling institutions and corruption growth".

On May 9 30 thousand meeting of a protest of workers of the gambling industry which has appealed to the President to veto the law "About Gaming Prohibition in Ukraine" took place.
