Litvin designated all dates of elections except the groundless

Chairman of the Verkhovna RadaVladimir Litvincalls "groundless" the drafts of the resolution registered in parliament about carrying out presidential election in Ukraine before January, 2010.

"It is necessary to carry out the Constitution instruction. It is pleasant, or it isn't pleasant. If it isn't pleasant, it is necessary to make offers on change in accordance with the established procedure. There (in the Constitution) it is written down - presidential election is carried out to the last week of the last month 5-го years of powers of the president", - Litvin on a press - conferences in Zaporozhye on Wednesday told, reports "Interfax - Ukraine"

He also reported that made the offer to charge to profile committee to develop changes in the law "About presidential elections" in edition of 2004.

Besides, Litvin suggested to reduce election campaign with 120-ти to 90-that days.

As it was reported, on May 20 in the Verkhovna Rada the draft of the resolution on purpose of the next presidential elections for January 17, 2010 was registered. His author is the speaker of parliament.

Besides, in parliament of Ukraine two more drafts of the resolution on date of carrying out presidential election are registered. The deputy of the "Our Ukraine — National Self-defense" block Gennady Moskal suggests to hold elections of the head of state on November 22, 2009.

And the deputy from BYuT Andrey Shevchenko suggests to elect the president on December 27, 2009.

On April 1, 2009 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the resolution on purpose of the next election of the president of Ukraine for October 25, 2009. The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko appealed to the Constitutional court which recognized on May 12 this resolution unconstitutional.
