The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin declares that this week the parliament won't consider a question about purposes of date of presidential election.
"We agreed that it will be next week as the profile committee has to consider the relevant resolution", - he told journalists on end of a coordination board on Monday.
It reminded that brought in parliament the draft of the resolution on need of adaptation of electoral laws before presidential election.
"Date is obvious to all is on January 17. At the same time I suggest to decide on the term to which it is necessary to prepare new edition of the law on presidential elections. In particular I suggest to reduce selective term by a month. And also in it instructions to Cabinet of Ministers and the Central Election Commission about creation of the real register of voters as you perfectly understand are provided that on these elections of a rate will be higher than life", - Litvin told.
Answering a question, what does he think of an initiative of election of the president in parliament in a context of development of the new text of the Constitution of BYuT and Party of Regions, Litvin again emphasized:
"If to take away the last right from the people - it will be bad. At the same time the question consists in what powers will have the president, the government, BP, and the main thing as they will use these powers".
