Victor Yushchenko's voluntary retirement from a post of the president of Ukraine will positively influence further development of the country.
Such opinion was expressed by the vice-chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Nikolay Tomenko to the correspondent UNIAN, making comments on information widespread in mass media that the president can retire in case of creation of the new coalition.
According to Tomenko if the president took this step, it would be the positive decision as today the majority of citizens consider that "the history with Victor Yushchenko's presidency has to come to the end".
"If possibility of creation of the new coalition becomes for the president additional argument, there is in it no problem as more important is today updating of political elite headed by the president", - the vice-chairman of BP considers.
At the same time, according to Tomenko, after resignation the president becomes the ordinary average citizen with all consequences which from this follow.
"Therefore not the fact that such decision will be made by the president", - he told.
