Merikov considers that the prosecutor's office interferes with investors and intends to defend construction of port a family of the deputy Falko

- Silly, when prosecutors start considering such questions and to carp at that, in principle, that actually doesn't exist. Would pay attention to another - to corruption schemes which are in the Nikolaev area both in authorities, and in law enforcement agencies today better. And I with them spoke about it a week ago. Therefore I categorically insist on that this project was and that it couldto realize especially as at this company there are owners the European investors who declared construction of large port in Nikolaev. Well really 500 workplaces aren't necessary to us, well really today investments aren't necessary to us in area? And anybody after all won't take away then this port. It is capital construction then it will be used anyway in plans transport and to bring taxes in treasury of area and in treasury of the state. I will unambiguously defend this order and the project which has to be in the Nikolaev area, - he declared.

We will remind that in December, 2013 the former governor of the Nikolaev area Nikolay Kruglov, and in February, 2015 the current governor Vadim Merikov issued the order about allocation in rent for 49 years of 157 hectares of the earth in the territory of Galitsinovsky village council under construction of port.The earth was allocated to JSC MP «Term_nal–Ukrkharchozbutsirovina» , which planned to place objects of port infrastructure, the approach channel and mooring fronts there.
