The antimonopoly committee (AMK) of Ukraine revealed a number of problem questions in the sphere of granting by higher educational institutions of paid services, in particular,facts of tightening of economically unreasonable tuition fee of students. About it reports a press - service AMK.
As found out Committee, within the last several years took placeestablishment by educational institutions of an unreasonable payment for services in training of students in the directions "Right" and "Medicine".
Moreover, without having appropriate methodical base, higher educational institutions included illegal requirements in contracts concerning education service.
According to the legislation on the competition educational institutions are subjects of managing, whichcan hold a monopoly position in the market of services in education. Therefore establishment of the overestimated cost of services can be considered asabuse of market situation.
Therefore soon the Antimonopoly committee decided to carry out special hearings to discuss and solve the revealed problems. To discussions are invited: guide of Committee to questions of science and education of the Verkhovna Rada, Management of humanitarian policy of the Secretariat of the Cabinet, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economics and rectors of a number of higher educational institutions of Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkov,Nikolaev, Odessa, Lviv, Crimea.
