The People's Deputy of Ukraine, the leader of "The front of changes" Arseniy Yatsenyuk considers changes to the law on an election of the president of Ukraine "as continuation of the constitutional revolution in Ukraine".
As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, about this A.YaTsENYuK told today on a press - conferences.
"The constitutional junta actively accelerated process of capture of the power in Ukraine", - told A.YaTsENYuK.
He emphasized that the offered changes to the law on presidential elections are "continuation of the constitutional revolution in the state".
As explained A.YaTsENYuK, authors of the bill are the same People's Deputies who, according to its information, worked over the project of changes in the Constitution. A.YaTsENYuK noted that the present initiative is "a barefaced form of very distinguished falsification of elections". In his opinion, it is already possible not to go and not to vote as results of elections are already established.
A.YaTsENYuK explained the position as follows - the initiated changes provide that the priority right to offer representatives in election commissions is acquired by the deputy fractions presented in parliament. At the same time, representatives of candidates for president will make minority in election commissions of all levels and won't be able to influence work of these commissions. And under such circumstances, in view of a defining role of election commissions at establishment of results of vote, and also at the solution of other questions arising during presidential elections, control from one of candidates for presidential post turns electoral process into formality.
A.YaTsENYuK considers that the majority of members of election commissions will be appointed the present coalition and will represent interests of the candidate for president Yulia TYMOSHENKO.
Besides, according to the leader of "The front of changes", the bill offers to exclude the Supreme Court from process of the appeal of results of will of citizens and to allocate Central Election Commission with the right to remove candidates from elections at own discretion. Thus, he noticed, the appeal of decisions of election commissions is complicated to such an extent that they can't almost be appealed.
Considering stated, And.YaTsENYuK considers that authors of the bill try to establish actually election of the President in parliament, but some other way - by control of parliamentary fractions over election commissions.
According to A.YaTsENYuKA if the law comes into force, the head of state will be not in public chosen, but appointed.
A.YaTsENYuK is convinced that similar changes to the law on an election of the president of Ukraine are anticonstitutional and not democratic. He reported that before the end of the week will address in the Council of Europe and OSCE concerning these changes to prevent their acceptance. He also noted that in case of the adoption of the bill the Verkhovna Rada, will surely appeal to the Constitutional Court with the corresponding representation.
As reported the UNIAN, on July 1 BP adopted in the first reading the bill "About modification of some acts concerning an election of the president of Ukraine".
The bill, in particular, provides to change an order of formation district and precinct election commissions, to reduce terms of electoral process from 120 to 90 days, to improve an order of the appeal of solutions of subjects of electoral process.
Also it is offered to liquidate institute of absentee ballots and subscription lists in support of the presidential candidate of Ukraine.
