The committee of the Verkhovna Rada concerning the state construction and local government recommends to parliament to reject the draft of the resolution No. 4688 on Ivan Vakarchuk's dismissal from a position of the Minister of Education and Science.
On July 1 the committee at the meeting considered the corresponding draft of the resolution. During its discussion the chairman of committee, the deputy of Rada from "Our Ukraine — National Self-defense" block fraction Alexander Omelchenko noted that on June 24 addressed with a written request to the prime minister - to the minister Yulia Timoshenko for receiving materials which are at the disposal of Cabinet of Ministers and concern the question of dismissal of the member of the government raised before Rada.
Also information from committee on questions of executive authorities was heard, the position of members of the committee is listened.
"Thus the majority of members of the committee disagreed with evaluation of the work of Vakarchuk at a position of the Minister of Education and Science which is provided by legal entities of a legislative initiative (inefficient work at a position with excess of powers of office)", - it is spoken in the committee decision.
By results of question consideration the committee didn't support Vakarchuk's dismissal.
On June 23 deputies from PR Dmitry Tabachnik, Yury Boyko, Vasily Gorbal, Anatoly Tolstoukhov suggested parliament to dismiss Vakarchuk.
Besides, the committee on questions of the state construction and local government recommends to parliament to reject the draft of the resolution 4701 on Vasily Vovkun's dismissal from a position of the Minister of Culture and tourism.
On June 23 the deputy of Rada from fraction of Communist party Victoria Demyanchuk Vovkuna from a position of the Minister of Culture and tourism suggested parliament to dismiss.
