The head of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin is convinced that the highest state heads have to make in common "the political decision" concerning holding early parliamentary elections together with the presidential.
He told about it at a briefing on Friday in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to Litvin, the parliament has no opportunity normally to work and "opportunities for a compromise are almost exhausted".
"Therefore it is necessary to adopt then the law on presidential elections, but not according to raider schemes, to adopt the law on elections in the Verkhovna Rada according to open party lists and to make the political decision - to hold early elections of the president and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine", - the speaker told.
According to Litvin, legal grounds for carrying out such elections aren't present but if politicians want to find a way out, they have to make the relevant decision and hold elections according to the advanced legislative scheme, "which will be apprehended by the Ukrainian society".
Making comments on the bill of presidential elections, Litvin noted that the profile committee isn't ready to provide the conclusions about it from - for a large number of divergences in the offered amendments.
"Therefore my offer that the Verkhovna Rada adopted only one amendment found support, namely - about reduction of election campaign till 90 days (with 120-ти)", - he told.
On Litvin's belief, it will allow parliamentarians to finish quietly further the bill and not to make to it change already during election campaign.
"I am convinced that in such edition the president will sign this law - and then there will be an opportunity to finish and adopt the normal law not in the course of election campaign", - the speaker noted.
